ALL ABOUT PIAK OFFROAD: Direct Suspensions Providing the Latest and Greatest from PIAK

Who/What Is PIAK Offroad?

PIAK is a leading brand specialising in high-quality bullbars designed for rugged Australian conditions. Known for their robust engineering and innovative design, PIAK bullbars provide exceptional protection for vehicles navigating tough terrains or showing off in suburban streets.

Each bullbar is ADR compliant and follows Queensland road rules, famous for its iconic black and orange underbody and recovery points. They also have a range of other 4x4 accessories including side steps, towbars, and nudge bars.

Established in 1981 in Klaeng, Rayong Province, PIAK began by crafting car accessories for the Suzuki Caribian and custom Jeeps for rental services in Pattaya. As it gained popularity with tourists and locals, PIAK pivoted in 1989 to focus on 4WD protection gear, expanding its manufacturing capabilities from 1992.

Now, PIAK creates top-notch 4WD protection gear and accessories, shipping to numerous countries like Australia, South Africa, and Japan. Maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, PIAK remains dedicated to quality through innovation and a reliable team.

Bullbars!

There are three types of Bullbars offered by PIAK as of September 2024. These are the Genesis (loop and no loop), Elite (triple loop and no loop), and the Premium Loop. Each have their advantages depending on what bullbar you're after and are full bumper replacement bars. All bullbars have customisable colours (recovery points and bash plates) to suit all tastes.

Genesis (Loop and No Loop) Bullbar

With it's modern and sleek look, it's no wonder this is the Direct Suspensions favourite style from PIAK so far. They've taken an innovative style approach, making their recovery points horizontal. They currently offer this bullbar to four cars:

Unfortunately, the Genesis for the BT-50 is still in development. The current estimate from PIAK is that the first shipment will land in Australia in 2025. We will update you on any advancements or delays as soon as we hear them!

Elite (Triple Loop and No Loop) Bullbar

    Triple Loop (3-Loop) Elite Bullbar

The Elite's slim fitting design with the triple loop is a classic. This is perfect for that classic 3-loop look but doesn't look bulky. If you like this bullbar but want a more fierce look, we think the side rails fits perfectly with this bar. Unlike the Genesis, this is available for a wider range of 4WDs:

    No Loop (3-Loop) Elite Bullbar

Wanting even more of a slim look? The No Loop Elite bar is a more contemporary style bar, however with that you do miss out on some features: Unlike the Triple Loop this bar doesn't have:

    • Two aerial brackets (one on driver's side and one on passenger's)
    • 50.8mm outer tubing and centre cross bar (referring to loops)
    • Steel upright fabricated (referring to loops)

Some people will say there is no point in getting a bullbar without loops, however we say it depends on what you are getting it for. If you aren't a mad offroader who is likely to get hit by who knows what out in the bush and you like the style of no loops then we say go for it!

    This bar is available for:

    Premium Loop Bar

This bullbar was designed for your pre-face lift 4x4s. With a timeless A-Frame and multi-fold wing design, we recommend this style to anyone wanting a standard bullbar for an older vehicle.
