Tough Dog Ralph Assembled Struts are made up of 1 x Strut, 1 x Coil, 1 x Strut top.

The Tough Dog ‘Ralph’ shock is the largest 4WD shock on the market. We redesigned shocks originally intended for prime movers to suit demanding 4WD applications.

The Ralph shock features a massive 50mm bore and 20mm chrome piston rod, all housed within a rugged 70mm casing. These big dogs carry so much oil, they run cool over even the toughest terrain. If you drive a fully laden off-road tourer, these are the shocks for you.

Ralph Strut Features

• Foam cell technology helps reduce aeration and cavitation within the shock absorber, delivering more consistent damping performance and improved ride comfort across varying road conditions.
• The twin tube design provides enhanced durability and smoother operation by using an inner and outer tube configuration to better manage hydraulic fluid movement and heat dissipation.
• A hydraulic rebound stop is incorporated to minimise harsh top-out impacts, improving ride stability and helping protect suspension components from excessive rebound forces.
• High temperature, all weather oil ensures reliable damping performance in a wide range of climates and operating conditions, maintaining consistent viscosity even under extreme heat and heavy use.
• Reinforced, welded mounting points are engineered for added strength and durability, helping the strut withstand increased loads and demanding driving conditions.
• Multi-stage velocity sensitive valving automatically adjusts damping forces according to suspension movement speed, providing improved comfort during normal driving and greater control during aggressive or rough-road conditions.
