Powerdown Polyurethane - Track Rod Bush
Powerdown Tuff Yello polyurethane bushes are manufactured from a proprietary urethane elastomer developed specifically to address the failure modes of both rubber and standard polyurethane shock absorber bushes. Standard rubber bushes compress, crack and extrude under the constant cyclical loading of heavy vehicle shock absorber mounting. Standard polyurethane alternatives are often too hard - transmitting vibration and wearing the mounting hardware instead of absorbing it.
Tuff Yello's formulation delivers the high elasticity and return-to-shape performance of quality rubber with 3-4 times the service life. The result is a bush that absorbs shock loads correctly, maintains the shock absorber in the right mounting geometry, and does not require replacement at every shock service.

Signs your shock absorber bushes need replacing: Clunking or knocking from the suspension over bumps (particularly at slow speed), visible cracking, splitting or extrusion of the bush material, the shock absorber rocking in its mount, or oil contamination of the bush material. Replace bush kits whenever replacing shock absorbers for maximum service life from the new shocks.
