Powerdown Shock Absorber for Hino Trucks and Isuzu C/E/F/G Series
Powerdown Shock Absorber for Hino Trucks and Isuzu C/E/F/G Series
Powerdown Supershock shock absorbers for Hino and Isuzu heavy trucks are calibrated for the specific suspension geometry and operating loads of these Japanese platforms in Australian service. Hino and Isuzu trucks dominate Australian concrete, refuse, distribution and service body applications - running high cycles in urban environments that generate enormous cumulative stress on suspension components.
Japanese truck shock absorbers wear faster in Australian conditions than their OEM service intervals suggest - because Australian concrete, kerbing, and service road conditions are significantly rougher than Japanese urban infrastructure. Powerdown engineers have calibrated the damping forces accordingly.
- Damping forces calibrated for Hino and Isuzu front suspension geometry and Australian urban operating loads
- Large bore design for increased heat dissipation under high-cycle urban work cycles
- Viton seals and semi-synthetic fluid for extended service life in concrete and refuse truck applications
- 360-degree arc-welded end mounts and one-piece eye rings for high-cycle urban operations
- Hydraulic stop reduces piston impact at full compression under heavy urban loading
Signs of worn shocks on Hino/Isuzu: Nose dive when braking on approach to traffic lights, front tyre feathering or uneven wear, steering shimmy, oil on the shock body, or increased driver fatigue in urban stop/start operations. High-cycle urban vehicles should be inspected every 100,000km.
