Powerdown Bush | Cab Mount
Powerdown engine and cab mounts provide vibration isolation between the powertrain/cab and chassis structure. Worn mounts allow excess movement and vibration transmission that causes noise, accelerates structural wear and contributes to driver fatigue on long-haul routes. Correct mount condition is essential for cab stability, engine alignment and overall vehicle NVH performance.
- Application-specific design engineered for the mounting geometry of this vehicle platform
- Polyurethane Tuff Yello or rubber compound selected for correct stiffness and durability
- Reduces engine and chassis vibration transmitted to the cab and driver
- Correct mount condition prevents drivetrain misalignment that causes powertrain wear
- Direct bolt-on replacement for OEM mounts - no modification required
- Extended service life compared to OEM rubber mounts in Australian operating conditions
Signs of worn mounts: Increased vibration and noise in the cab, engine moving excessively under acceleration or braking, cab rocking or instability, visible cracking or compression of the mount rubber/urethane, or clunking sounds from the powertrain area. Worn engine mounts can affect driveline alignment and accelerate transmission and driveshaft wear.
