Tough Dog Performance 4WD Torsion Bars are engineered to deliver superior handling, improved load support, and enhanced off-road performance. Featuring a spring rate approximately 30% higher than OEM torsion bars, they significantly reduce hard bottoming out on rough terrain while providing more responsive handling on the road.
Designed for versatility, these torsion bars can be installed with a moderate pre-load to increase ride height for improved off-road clearance, or fitted at standard height to restore factory handling characteristics and suspension performance.
Performance-tested and easy to install, Tough Dog Torsion Bars are an ideal upgrade for vehicles fitted with oversized tyres, bull bars, winches, and other front-end accessories that add extra weight.
For safe operation and optimal suspension performance, a minimum of 60mm suspension droop (down travel) must always be maintained, regardless of the torsion bars or accessories fitted.
